So, here are seven things you may not know about me:
1. Believe it or not, I am afraid of the dark.
2. I absolutely LOVE amusement parks and have loved them since I was too small to ride the big kid rides. I remember one year, my dad and I walked up to the Colossus (a twisty twirly ride at my favorite amusement park) and the girl working the front of the line made me stand next to the "you must be this tall to ride this ride" to see if I was big enough.....I barely missed the minimum height requirement and was refused entry. I was five years old and heartbroken. As my dad and I dolefully turned around, all the people in line behind us boo'd the ticket girl. Hehehe
3. I am a perfectionist.
4. I love most reality T.V. It has this hold on me and I make no apologies.
5. Back in the day I used to be a hardcore club kid. The nightlife was my playground and I took advantage of everything that reckless youth has to offer. I miss those days terribly at times. But then, as I get a spontaneous kiss and hug from my favorite 2 year old, I am reminded very quickly of how much better it is to be a hardcore mommy.
6. I am too observant for my own good.
7. If I were to be stranded on an island and could take with me five possessions, they would be: My husband and kids...yes they are owned by me. I am possessive and I'm O.K. with that. A lifetime supply of Sunblock with titanium dioxide or zinc oxide as the main ingredients. I am PETRIFIED of the sun and getting burned. So much so, that I literally have nightmares about it. My makeup/skincare bag...because let's face it, even a cast away has to look good. A lifetime supply of Green Monsters. I know, I know, they are incredibly bad for you but I figure if I am stranded on a deserted island, death is on the horizon and I am going to go out on a delicious high. Sunglasses. Because I hate squinting.
